About MEBCORP

MEBCORP provides management and oversight to MEBCO and LGC to assist municipal governments with managing their self-insured employee health programs.  MEBCORP operates as a not-for-profit with a Board of Directors made up of municipal officials. 

• MEBCO is a municipal employee benefits consortium with nine municipal employers providing health programs to active and retired employees in New York State.

• LGC is a Local Government Captive program available in New York and all states. The LGC program is only available to entities subject to Section 115 of the Internal revenue Code.

In partnership with its broker and captive manager, MEBCORP provides the structure and resources to empower members to pool strength and manage their self-insured programs.​  MEBCORP is dedicated to providing the best solutions for self-insured municipalities.
